Layout of the Week

Wrapping up a very busy week over here for me- how's life been treating our readers?  The sun has been out in full force these past few days and while I LOVE it, my dh is already wishing for snow again...what to do with these guys, eh?  The kiddos in my neighborhood have been out playing football and tag and doing one of the things I always loved as a kid- riding bikes!  I remember vividly the first time I took off down the street on my yellow banana seat bike thinking my dad was still running behind me hanging on...and looking back to realize I was doing it all on my own!  Thyme4me's "Superstar" layout of her daughter's recent bike victory brought back so many memories- your page captures her excitement so vividly and I hope that you (and she) will be just as excited to be the Layout of the Week!

Hi everyone!!  Sara here today with this week's Layout of the Week!!  After browsing The Gallery {which has some beautiful stuff in it!!} the one layout that really stood out to me was Trina's Mount Rushmore.

I love the way the photograph takes center stage on the paper. The photo is stunning, with it's pop of blue. I love the clustering of frames and flowers, and how it highlights the foliage in the picture. It is truly a wonderful layout showcasing one our America's most cherished landmarks, and I am pleased to highlight it as the Layout of the Week. Congratulations Trina!! I will be sending you an email/PM sometime later today. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Layout of the Week

Greetings blog readers, Teresa here checking in for my first post! 

Each week one of the ladies from Jen's creative team will be selecting one of your pages from the gallery to highlight as a "Layout of the Week" here at The Creative Life, sometimes the page will be the winner of a blog challenge, sometimes a page that particularly stands out to one of the girls, and we might even throw in a few twists on the "traditional" way of highlighting your pages.  Stay tuned!

This week I've been given the honor of selecting one of the gallery standouts using Jen's newest kit- Creative Fortune.  We've seen some absolute stunners in the gallery and love that you're all showing off the versatility of the kit, definitely not just for St. Patty's Day!  Remember that all the sales of this kit in March will go to the World Food Programme, such a worthy cause to donate to and you get a great gift in the process.
