Project 52 - WEEK 7

Hey there, welcome to this weeks challenge in Jen Wilson's Project 52! I am so excited to see all of you scrapping along, and it is wonderful to see all these creations. Don't we all have favorites that we all reach for, and then some goodies that we open and look at and then never seem to find a way to use. Well, this week I am challenging you to use that orphan alpha or element that never seems to find a home. Do a page that shares some wisdom you live by, or words that give you hope. Embrace the paradox of creative irritation and post a page that features both an alpha or element that you love and is totally comfortable AND one that you have never used and that you find challenging. Layout of the Week

With Valentines just days away and love in the air MIXED with all the challenges and layouts being posted over in the gallery - IT was a challenge picking just one to showcase for this week BUT I had to.. soooo.. I chose this one by aromachock!!

I loved the love theme of course but what I really loved was the center orientation, the candid photo and the real journalling!!  Thanks for sharing with us!

Project 52: Week 5

Hello everyone!  Sara here with this week's Project 52 Challenge!  Do to some wintery health issues with some members of the team and their families this week, I am postponing my hybrid challenge until a later date, so everyone can be feeling great!  So, this week's challenge is going to be a layout, with a twist, focused on love!  That's right - with Valentine's Day just a few days away, I thought it would be fun to do a layout about the love of your life!  Now, if you're married or dating - this SHOULD be about that special person, but obviously it doesn't have to be!!  BUT - it DOES have to be about a person!  No furry friends or electronic devices allowed this week!!  So, check out the *rules* below and have fun scrapping about that special someone in you life!

P52 Week 5 Challenge

• Your layout MUST be about a person - someone who you treasure, couldn't live without, someone who makes you love the life you live!
• The layout MUST use pieces from Jen's Valentine Collection {new or old} and at least two papers and some hearts - LOTS and LOTS of hearts!!
• It also must have some type of whimsical doodles - either your own, or from someone else - but I love whimsical, and it is all about love this week!!
• Journaling - be sure to record why this person is so special to you and your life!
• Be sure to post your layout in the JWD Gallery and one other gallery by 11:59PM EST Sunday, February 15th {this means you can use pictures from Valentine's Day!}
• Don't forget to leave a comment below with links to your layouts!!

Layout of the Week!

Hi everyone!  Kelleigh here with my first blog post as a Jen Wilson Designs CT Member!  Wahoo!!

This has been a huge week for layouts in the JWD gallery as more and more scrappers hop on board the Project 52 train.  Well, that and the awesome Beginnings challenges.  In fact, Jen and the CT have been working hard to come up with great ideas to get you started on your next layout.  Join us this week for even more challenges, and while you are at it, cruise on over to the gallery and leave a little love!

This week, I had so much fun looking through the gallery to find my favorite.  It was tough to nail it down, but in the end, I had to go with this wonderful, understated masterpiece by eightcows16.

P52 Challenge #4- Repeat After Me

Hi everyone!  Welcome to our 4th week of Project 52!  Teresa here, in charge of this week's challenge- I hope you're going to love this one.

This week's challenge is all about those important conversations that you wish you could freeze in time forever.  The goal this week is to do just that!  Journal a conversation between you and someone you love.  Include one frame with a photo of you and the person in your conversations.  Add elements, but make sure everything, including your title, is repeated somewhere else on the layout.  And finally, make your layout design as repetitive as you can- get creative!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!  A larger version of this graphic will be posted in the forums.

As usual, post a link to your layout in the JWD gallery and one other gallery here in the comments section of this post.  You have until 11:59 EST on Sunday, February 8th to complete the challenge.
