Layout of the Week
Hey gang! Allison (alienhard) here. It was my turn this week to choose the layout of the week, and I have to tell you, it wasn’t easy! With the Project 52 and Beginnings challenges going on, the amazing layouts in the gallery have been CRAZY, so it was tough. But I kept getting drawn back to this one. I just love it and hope to scraplift it sometime soon.
And without further ado, I chose peamissy’s “Love You” layout as this week’s winner.
I just ADORE the patchwork paper, and the soft colors are just beautiful! I love how the journalling is scattered throughout the layout, and how that sweet little girl is the center of attention.
So congratulations to peamissy! I’ll PM you with your prize later! :)

Project 52 Week #3
Hey gang! Allison (alienhard) here! I was in charge of coming up with this week’s Project 52 challenge, and after much thought, I came up with this:
This week, you need to scrap a timeline of some sort. It can be any sort of timeline you’d like. A week in your life… a week in your life… pregnancy progress… a child’s growth/weight chart… important dates that led you to where you are now in your life… your favorite recipe from start to finish… etc. It’s up to you. Try to think outside the box a bit and come up with something creative.
The “rules” for this week are:
- It must be a time line.
- You must use at least one element that denotes time (a clock, a calendar, etc.).
- You must use the color blue somewhere in the layout. Any shade of blue and no set amount. But I need to see SOMETHING blue in your layout.
That’s it! I’ve done some time line layouts myself, so I’m posting them here to give you some ideas of what we’re looking for. (They’re both in my gallery at JWD if you’d like a closer look.) Now go open up your program and get to scrapping! LOL! (I’ll post the challenge in the forums too just in case you can’t read it clearly here.)

I’m SOOO excited to see what you guys come up with! The layouts so far of Project 52 have been amazing, and I’m rather impressed with the creativity you’ve all shown. Let’s keep it going, gang! :)
